Veronica finished her BSc at the University of Toronto and is now conducting her MSc thesis research on the reintroduction of snakes into a disturbed area, with a focus on attempts to create new hibernating sites for the animals. She is working on both the Western Racer (pictured) and the Great Basin Gopher Snake, and her work is tightly linked to that being conducted at the same time by Lily. Support for this project is being provided by the Trans-Mountain Corporation and MITACs.
